Think your disposable diaper is eco-friendly? Think again...
|
"Contrary to popular belief, no diaper -- not even biodegradable ones -- can break down in an airtight landfill."
- Elisa Batista, Wired News
|
"Reusable diapers result in less environmental impact, and they are generally cheaper in the long run... A landfill is not a composting facility... Nothing degrades well in a landfill."
- California Integrated Waste Management Board, Official Website |
